Identifying CharacteristicsFirst edition of probably the only publication by the Bamberg ophthalmologist and surgeon Georg Gelman. A second edition was published in 1680. – VD17 23:292978E; Wellcome III, 101; Krivatsky 4644 (incomplete). Not in Waller, Osler, or Hirsch-H. – Re-bound in old vellum. New end-papers. Frontispiece with slight dampstain. Old ms. name and date on title. Very clean throughout.
