Thomas Browne. Pseudodoxia epidemica, or, Enquiries into very many received tenents and commonly presumed truths (1646).
First edition. 1646. Bound in later blind-stamped full calf. As usual the imprimatur lead is before the title page. There is occasional light spotting and a faint damp stain to about ten leaves. The binding is pleasant and the copy is really attractive.
